Spring is in the air!

Spring has arrived and aside from the pollen which doesn't seem to agree with Logan, the kids are loving the warm evenings and longer days. We play outside every day after they get home. The other day we conducted a color nature hike in the front yard. Brenden and I would take turns naming a color and then we'd have to find something in the yard that was that color. It was a lot of fun and educational too :)

Logan had to see an ENT specialist to evaluate the fluid in his ears. Its not infected right now but its definitely there and the dr was also concerned with the constant state of snot his nose is in. He wants to give it 4 more weeks and then explore the possiblity of tubes in his ears and removing the adenoids. I REALLY don't want to have to do any more surgery on him, but at the same time I'd like for 8 weeks to go by without him being sick.

On a plus note Logan is such a great talker. He has also finally learned how to jump with both feet leaving the ground. He loves to sing 'bringing home a baby bumble bee' and will constantly pull apart his hands and say "ow! tung me!" (ouch! it stung me!). He apparently doesn't like my singing voice. If I sing he will put his hand over my mouth and say 'mama, no. Mama, shhhsh!'

Brenden is a very smart sweet clever 3 yr old. He enjoys learning Spanish at school and has been on a Dora/Diego kick for a while now. He is imitating our words so often and its pretty  funny to hear your voice come out of your kid's mouth. Logan wanted to swing the other day and I told him no, we were just going to be outside for a few minutes. Brenden walked over to his pollen-coated swing and said. "Logan you can't swing, its dirty buddy." He is just so aware of his surroundings and loves to talk about it. He likes to say "sure" all of the time now instead of "yes."  He was climbing on some rocks outside and Logan wanted to climb too and I told Logan no but told Brenden he could continue climbing because he was a big boy. He said "yah, big boys are really great climbers!"

They make me smile and laugh every day. I am so thankful to have them!

Here are some pictures of my cutie pies
