I love using the photoshop, instagram, hipstamatic and camera + apps on iphone. It makes it easy for taking photographs anywhere I go. I will try to make it a habit to do a little iphone photo dump since its so easy!

All about Logan
I figured I spent close to 2 years letting Brenden be the star of my blog before Logan came along and since then Logan has always co-starred with Brenden in my blog. Today I decided to just do a photo tribute to Logan.
Logan is so different from Brenden. He is tough and wild and 100% boy. He's not into hugging and cuddling unless he's sick or really tired. He is the kind of kid that will scrape his knees and keep on playing without a single tear. He loves to destroy things, make messes, get into mischief, and to be really loud. He does the exact opposite of everything you ask of him and thinks its funny. He's very energetic and happy (unless he's not getting his own way). He loves to eat, ride on his daddy's shoulders, play in his pool, play with kitty, and LOVES to swing.
Here he is shoving a stick in his mouth (and laughing) after I specifically told him not to.

He's got this awesome curly hair that he strokes when he's sleepy like its his security blanket.
"Logan, don't put that chalk in your mouth!"
A rare moment of niceness with the kitty before he picks her up by her paw/fur/tail...
Why is there never any sand in the sandbox???
He loves doing silly things, hearing silly noises.. anything "sthilly" as he calls it.
A classic "silly" face.
Love my Logie!

Rockie
After a lot of tought, we decided it was time to get the kids a pet... well and maybe *I* wanted a pet too! I decided on a cat since the boys are still very young and take up so much of my time. I thought a puppy would be more responsibility than I could take on. I asked Brenden what he wanted to name the kitty and he said "rock" so we settled on Rockie instead. According to Brenden, her full name is "Kitty Rockie Pray." The boys love her, but I'm having a tough time teaching Logan to be gentle to the kitty. He likes to pick her up by her fur and then gets mad when she bites. He says "Kitty, NOT NICE!"
Here is a picture from Brenden's collection of Easter eggs from the church hunt.
The boys are really into playing out in the front yard every day after school and all weekend long. They like to ride in their toy cars and tricycles. They love to explore the yard, collect flowers and sticks, and go on long walks in their wagon.
We went to the NC transportation museum and took a few pictures of the kids posing in one of those silly billboard things.
Brenden is such a great kid. Yesterday he got a smiley face at school because he said thank you all day long. Glad some of the manners we are teaching him are sticking. He's crazy about my iphone. He likes to play the coloring apps and immedciately wants to take it from me when he sees it in my hands.
Logan is just a silly little boy. He's such a great talker and says the funniest things all of the time. He continues to eat us out of house and home. He'll finish his dinner and look to Sean and I and say "bite, bite!" wanting to eat our food too. Its so funny to have one son who hates to eat and one who we have to hide the food from lol. Just shows that some kids are just born picky eaters.

It was 85 degrees yesterday so after our Easter egg hunt in the yard we pulled out the sprinkler and let the boys play with thier eggs in the water.

Spring is in the air!
Spring has arrived and aside from the pollen which doesn't seem to agree with Logan, the kids are loving the warm evenings and longer days. We play outside every day after they get home. The other day we conducted a color nature hike in the front yard. Brenden and I would take turns naming a color and then we'd have to find something in the yard that was that color. It was a lot of fun and educational too :)
Logan had to see an ENT specialist to evaluate the fluid in his ears. Its not infected right now but its definitely there and the dr was also concerned with the constant state of snot his nose is in. He wants to give it 4 more weeks and then explore the possiblity of tubes in his ears and removing the adenoids. I REALLY don't want to have to do any more surgery on him, but at the same time I'd like for 8 weeks to go by without him being sick.
On a plus note Logan is such a great talker. He has also finally learned how to jump with both feet leaving the ground. He loves to sing 'bringing home a baby bumble bee' and will constantly pull apart his hands and say "ow! tung me!" (ouch! it stung me!). He apparently doesn't like my singing voice. If I sing he will put his hand over my mouth and say 'mama, no. Mama, shhhsh!'
Brenden is a very smart sweet clever 3 yr old. He enjoys learning Spanish at school and has been on a Dora/Diego kick for a while now. He is imitating our words so often and its pretty funny to hear your voice come out of your kid's mouth. Logan wanted to swing the other day and I told him no, we were just going to be outside for a few minutes. Brenden walked over to his pollen-coated swing and said. "Logan you can't swing, its dirty buddy." He is just so aware of his surroundings and loves to talk about it. He likes to say "sure" all of the time now instead of "yes." He was climbing on some rocks outside and Logan wanted to climb too and I told Logan no but told Brenden he could continue climbing because he was a big boy. He said "yah, big boys are really great climbers!"
They make me smile and laugh every day. I am so thankful to have them!
Here are some pictures of my cutie pies
